How the relationship works

1. We join a merchant's affiliate programme through an affiliate network.
2. We list that merchant's offers: discounts, coupon codes and deals.
3. When a visitor follows our tracked link and completes a purchase, the network records the sale.
4. The merchant pays a commission through the network, and the network pays us.

Editorial independence

Commissions vary considerably between merchants, and higher-commission merchants are not ranked higher. Recommendations in our guides are based on the product's fit for the described use case, and where we say an option is not worth paying for, that judgement stands even if it costs us a commission.

Coupons and affiliate terms

Having an affiliate link does not mean every coupon for that merchant can be published. Programme terms commonly restrict coupon attribution, brand bidding, paid search and coupon site listing. We record those terms per programme and check them before publishing an offer.

What we track

When you click an outbound link we record the merchant, the offer, the referring page, device type and an irreversible hash derived from your IP address — never the IP itself. This tells us which content helps people decide. We do not build advertising profiles or sell data. See the privacy policy for detail.
